This Privacy Policy explains how Wise Insights ("we", "the bot") collects, uses, and stores your personal data when you interact with our Telegram bot (@wiseinsightsbot).

1. What data we collect

When you use the bot, we collect and store the following:

• Telegram ID and username — to identify your account
• Language preference and timezone — to personalize your experience
• Your messages — text and transcribed voice messages you send to the bot
• AI responses — replies generated by the bot in your conversation
• Usage statistics — anonymous data on token usage and costs (not linked to your identity externally)

We do not store raw voice files. Voice messages are transcribed immediately and only the text is saved.

2. How we use your data

• To generate personalized responses based on your context and history
• To send you scheduled morning and evening check-ins
• To build weekly and monthly summaries of your reflections
• To improve the quality of the bot's responses over time

3. Third-party services

Your messages are processed by the following third-party AI services:

• Anthropic (Claude) — generates text responses. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Groq (Whisper) — transcribes voice messages. Groq Privacy Policy

Your data is sent to these services solely to process your requests and is not used to train their models.

4. Data storage

All data is stored in a secure database hosted on Supabase (PostgreSQL). The server infrastructure is hosted on Oracle Cloud in the EU region. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data.

5. Data retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the bot

7. Children

This bot is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
